Intersection Syndrome

Intersection syndrome is a rare condition in which there is pain at around 4 to 8 cm above the wrist level on the radial side. Intersection syndrome is due to crossing of 1st and 2nd extensor compartment. The Abductor Pollicis Longus and Extensor Pollicis Brevis Crosses the ECRB and ECRL tendons. The treatment is predominantly conservative.
