Last 26 june 2016,a grand live shoulder arthroscopy workshop was organised at advance knee and shoulder hospital.
more than 25 delegates attended the conference. The event was well appreciated .
A live demonstration surgery of rotator cuff repair was done. All delegates can actually see the surgery and clear their doubts regarding the surgery.
Camp at chittorgarh: Dr vipul kumar organised a camp at chittorgarh on 16th july. 67 patients were evaluated and attended to .

Advance knee and shoulder Hospital announces its second expansion in 1 year duration . Now hospital is a 10 bedded set up with Digital X ray facility as well . There is an extra consulting room for visiting consultants.

LIVE SHOULDER ARTHROSCOPY WORKSHOP AT POLIO FOUNDATION
A live shoulder arthroscopy arthroscopy workshop was organised at polio foundation to teach the art of shoulder arthroscopy to budding orthopedic surgeons.
35 orthopedic surgeons from all over gujrat attended the workshop. 2 live shoulder arthroscopy surgeries were demonstrated to the audience. The 2 surgeies were rotator cuff repair and bankart repair.
The live surgeries were well appreciated.
There were 3 didactic lectures by faculty followed by 2 live surgeries.
First case was a patient with apartial bursal rotator cuff tear, which was repaired with 1 iconix 2 suture anchour.
Second patient has a bony bankart lesion which was addressed with a labral repair and remplissage procedure.

Dr Prathmesh jain chaired a CME focussed on treatment of shoulder pain in mem nagar thaltej and vastrapur physician association .

Unicompartmental knee replacement surgery is a surgery in which only the half diseased part of joint is replaced instead of the complete knee . It is a very good alternative to total knee replacement in selected cases.Advance knee and shoulder hospital specialises in unicompartmental knee replacement surgery. Dr Prathmesh Jain has been specially trained for this surgery at Oxford knee course.
Partial knee replacement is a surgery in which only one, that is affected side of knee is replaced. This is a very helpful surgery for young patients who are very young to undergo a total knee replacement. The surgery has many advantages over total knee replacement surgery.
The surgery is small , The incision is small. The knee cap is not dislocated during surgery.Post operative recovery is smooth. The chances of medical complications are less. The chances of infection is half. The natural proprioreception is maintained as the native ACL ligament is preserved.
